The first single-varietal wine from Castell del Remei. Partially fermented with stems. Intense and profound, vibrant and full of flavour.
Type of wine: Complex, deep, and fresh wine.
Varieties: 100% Grenache.
Origin of the grapes: Wine made from a single 5-hectare estate of Garnacha Noir called Alts del Castell, planted in 1981.
Soil type: Clay-limestone with pebbles.
Vineyard altitude: High-altitude vineyards at 717 metres .
Agriculture: Certified organic agriculture (CCPAE). Exclusive use of organic fertilizers. Ploughing between vines with preservation of natural ground cover..
Winemaking: Harvested at the end of September 2024. Alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature between 20 and 23 ºC in stainless-steel tanks for around 9 days, with gentle daily pump-overs.
Certified organic wine by CCPAE and suitable for vegans.
Production: Limited to 3,985 bottles.

Tasting notes: Ruby red in colour, with aromas of red and black fruits—blackberries, wild berries, and sweet flowers—accompanied by sharp spicy notes, hints of aromatic herbs, balsamic and lactic touches. Intense on the nose with blackberry, liquorice, gentle spice, a trace of coffee (even without oak), raspberry, and forest herbs. On the palate, it is intense, with blackberry and plum, a slightly salty and liqueur-like sensation, and smooth tannins. An explosion of exotic spices and fruits such as raspberry, combined with forest herbs.
